Privacy Policy
Effective June 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Truwell website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need, and we treat it with care.
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to TruWell LLC ("Truwell," "we," "our," or "us") and to the website at truwell.us and any related communications. If you have any questions about this Policy or our practices, you can reach us at connect@truwell.us.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you sign up for our list, request an investor brief, or otherwise contact us, you may give us information such as your name, email address, organization, role, and any message you choose to send. You decide what to share.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Service, we may automatically collect limited technical information about your device and how you interact with the site, including IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and approximate location derived from your IP. We use this to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep the Service secure, measure how it is used, and understand how to improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect parts of the Service.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- operate, maintain, and secure the Service;
- respond to your sign-ups, requests, and communications;
- send you the updates, announcements, and other communications you have requested;
- understand how people use the Service so we can improve it;
- detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the limited circumstances described below.
Service providers
We share information with vendors that help us run the Service, such as hosting, email delivery, form processing, and analytics providers. These providers are bound by contracts that limit what they can do with your information.
Legal and safety
We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that doing so is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, respond to lawful requests from public authorities, enforce our agreements, protect our rights, or protect the safety of any person.
Business transfers
If Truwell is involved in a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, information about you may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will use reasonable efforts to direct any recipient to handle your information consistent with this Policy.
With your direction
We may share information with other parties when you ask us to or otherwise direct us to do so.
5. Your choices
- Email communications. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us. We may still send you transactional or service messages where permitted by law.
- Cookies. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. Each browser is different; check your browser's help menu for instructions.
- Do Not Track. Our Service does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals because no consistent industry standard has been adopted.
6. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information. These may include the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the information we hold about you, the right to restrict or object to certain processing, and the right to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at connect@truwell.us. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
For California residents
The California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives California residents certain rights, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
For residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom
Where applicable, we process personal information on the legal bases of your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, performance of a contract with you, and compliance with our legal obligations. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7. International transfers
Truwell is based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or in any other country where we or our service providers operate. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be processed in countries that may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
8. Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymize it.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-party services
The Service may link to third-party sites or services. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their practices. Please review the privacy policies of any third party before sharing information with them.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the "Effective" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after the change becomes effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
